Samskriti's New Year Celebrations 2024: The Feast, The Fun & Unforgettable Moments
Another year passes as we work silently in our cabins and delve into our work. But at Samskriti, we never keep the year from passing monotonously; our year unfolds at Samskriti amidst the joyous revelry, cheers, and noise.
We acknowledge our little successes, small triumphs, and progress of the past year, humbly recognizing our shortcomings. This year we followed it up with a delicious team lunch outside - stomachs full to fuel us through exhilarating indoor games and activities. Here’s how our day-long celebrations this year panned out:
Mr Sravan Kumar Paka's Brief Yet Interesting Annual Speech
All the hubbub ensues only after our customary cake-cutting ceremony led by Mr. Sravan Kumar Paka and his invaluable insights about the market, our industry, and our immediate roles and responsibilities. Every year, this talk, brief, to the point, and filled with new insights, is an intriguing part of the day where we stay silent to absorb his knowledge.
After the cake-cutting, amidst the hurrahs and greetings, Mr. Sravan Kumar Paka had a few words to say, drawing form his experience as a serial entrepreneur and CEO of Samskriti:
"We can understand how the market has not been our friend this year. Many businesses had to bear the brunt of adverse market winds, but thanks to our dedicated employees, we also retained all our clients this year. Surprisingly, this is a good indication of the quality of our work because only some of the giants are spared this year. Being steady and stable is a happy sign, and let us take this stability into the new year and score better projects in the coming quarter.
Also, he added, “In my 25 years of experience, I have never seen things move as fast as they did in the last year. A decade's potential for disruption has happened in one year alone – because of AI and LLMs. I would be happy to review ideas for LLM and AI-powered SaaS products and tools that could provide us with good traction in the field.” Each employee was presented with goodies, hampers, souvenirs, and accessories that further multiplied our joy."
Main Course: The Feast, The Fun & Unforgettable Moments
Famished with all-day pleasantries, decorations, and photoshoots, we were quickly off to our reserved restaurant to announce our attack on their masterfully crafted delicacies. Nobody held back (we wanted to give it all) and ordered their own choices of the delicacies.
It felt like there was no waiting time, not because there wasn't one, but incessant chatting made time flow fast. We tantalized our taste buds with the signature starters, filled our stomachs with various main courses, and finally ordered a choice selection of desserts to cap off the day after a 4-hour mini-war. It took us some time to reach the office, where our props for games were all set and ready. At the team's request, we were given an hour's break to relax and prepare for the league of games.
Laughter echoed through the air, and energy spread like wildfire at the sight of props. Our vibrant group of 40 people, spanning all age groups, created an eclectic mix of energy and experiences for a day filled with lively office games (that took us back to childhood), reminiscent of times at least ten years ago. Age took a back seat as everyone became a child, engaging in a spirited, competitive drive that ended with hearty laughs.
Last year, we had a similar blast, but this time, it was bigger, better, and more exhilarating. The entire team had to take a break to relax from the intensity of the games. The whole day was a rollercoaster of emotions, visual thrills, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments that provided a complete reset from the prior daily grind. With an extended weekend, we emerged rejuvenated, fit, and raring to go for the new year 2024.
