The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) organized a seminar on “e-Commerce & Business Opportunities” on the 15th July, 2016 at Federation House, FTAPCCI. Samskriti Business Solutions has been a part of the seminar with five members team, Shyam Prasad, Digital Marketing (DM) Head, Madhavi Anumula (Team Manager – DM), Sirisha Bandari, (Team Manager – DM), Chandra Hasa, (Herbs Pro Operations Team Manager) and Sathish, ( SEM Team Manager).

The seminar was organized at FTAPCCI Auditorium, Federation House, Hyderabad and was aimed to provide an insight into all the aspects of an e-Commerce industry and the right kind of business opportunities that SME’s and MSME’s have with the growing trend in the digital market scenario. The seminar took forward a leap in explaining aspects covering the Tax implications, Policies and Legal aspects in the e-commerce industry and online marketing.

Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, IT Secretary, Information technology, Electronics and Communications Department, Government of Telangana was the chief guest for the seminar. He addressed to all the attendees of seminar regarding cyber security, data analytics and open data, the three sectors that Government of Telangana will be coming up in September. Samskritians had an opportunity to interact with Sri Jayesh Ranjan regarding the service taxation for online marketing services, to which he said to address it in further proceedings.

Another extinguished delegate FTAPCCI President Ravindra Modi, reflected his views over the growth of e-commerce sector in the country from 34 percent (CAGR) growth since 2009 that reached to $ 16.4 billion in 2014 and also showed the sign of expectation in increase to $22 billion this year.
