The Organ Donation Program of Yashoda Hospitals and Jeevandhan scheme of the government was also supported by Samskriti Business Solutions as we joined their efforts as digital marketing partners. Organ donation is the donation of biological tissue or an organ of the human body, from a living or dead person to a living recipient in need of a transplantation. Transplantable organs and tissues are removed in a surgical procedure following a determination, based on the donor's medical and social history, of which are suitable for transplantation. 1 Organ Donor can save 8 LIVES. Donate Organs and Give Life to the needy.

One of our prestigious client, the best cardiac surgeon in the states of Telangana and AP, Dr AGK Gokhale was one of the speakers in the programme.

Dr Gokhale, Heart and Lung Organ Transplant Expert opined, “At present, there are about 2,50,000 kidney, 50,000 heart and 50,000 liver transplant cases pending in the country. With such high demand, the supply is less than 0.1%. This reflects the graveness of the situation. About 250 people meet with road accidents daily and are found brain dead. If such cases are declared, it is possible to save over 40% of the patients who are in desperate need of organ transplants. If organ do- nation awareness is increased, it would go a huge way in helping the cause and automatically increase the inflow of organs. The major issue now is lack of donors and awareness.”

Samskritians has participated the organ donation program held at Shiplakala Vedika on September 13th, 2014. Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna was at an organ donation drive and was chief guest at the event, took an oath to donate his organs.
